Transferring orders to the nesting software
Production orders are created in the ERP system and are visible in the nesting software for further processing immediately after release. Important information such as order number, requested delivery date, or customer details is transferred automatically. Time consuming tasks such as creating order items including importing existing geometries, setting materials, or defining quantities are automatically completed within seconds.

Transferring plate inventory to the nesting software

In addition to basic plate information such as length, width, thickness, and material, additional customer-specific fields can also be transferred. Naturally, the module also allows controlled release of plates for nesting directly from the ERP system.
At the same time, OmniFab ERP Connect also supports feedback of remnant plates into the ERP system. Remnants are automatically reported with weight, remaining dimensions, and their exact geometry. Mapping parts in the nesting software
Many companies manage their parts centrally in the ERP system. OmniFab ERP Connect enables flexible transfer of these part data into the part database of OmniWin individually or in batches, depending on requirements.
The part data, including exact geometries, are transferred directly to OmniWin. Alternatively, parts can also be transferred in the form of standardized part templates (e.g., rectangle, circle, ring, or trapezoid), ensuring simple and quick processing of parts.

Feeding back nesting plan data into the ERP system

OmniFab ERP Connect offers two options: direct transfer of the nesting plan from the nesting environment or, with OmniFab Production Data Capture, feedback of actual production data directly from the machine or operator.

The technology
