OmniWin 22.2 Feature Preview - Generate NC output for single parts

You can now quickly generate an NC code for an individual part without creating a nesting plan.

 

- Select the part in the workspace and assign a machine profile and a process in the Properties Pane.

- Right-click the part in the workspace to open the context menu and select “Generate NC”.

Lead-in and lead-out geometries are added as defined in the selected machine profile and the NC code for the part is saved to the export directory set for parts.

The “Generate Production Data” function can now also include the NC programs for the individual parts on the nesting plan. In some cases, you might need to nest individual parts on the GC directly. The parts NC program could be quickly used for this, for instance in case of rejections where you have now easy access to the part program instead of getting the entire nesting plan NC again. If the “Generate part NC codes” is checked, the NC programs will be included in the output and added as individual files next to the nesting plan NC program.
