From October 25th to 28th, Messer Cutting Systems will be showing its latest solutions for digitizing production at the EuroBLECH in Hall 13, Stand D138. At six stations, trade fair visitors can experience live for the first time how Industry 4.0 works with Messer Cutting Systems in real time. From the preparation of the offer, through nesting plans and production planning to material handling, production monitoring and process analysis, all steps are shown as realistically as they would work in metalworking companies.
The world's leading manufacturer of cutting technologies demonstrates its competence not only with the most modern cutting machines, but also with processes related to cutting. Under the motto "Solutions beyond machines", the company is impressively demonstrating at the trade fair how companies can use digitization to optimize processes, improve efficiency, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
Three digital trade fair premieres
For the first time at a trade fair, our two modules Sales Quotes and Material Flow of the OmniFab software suite and their deep integration into the new Global Connect control will be shown.
Offers are automatically, quickly, and reliably calculated with OmniFab based on processing times, material consumption, dimensional drawings, production parameters and many other factors. This saves time and minimizes errors.
The Material Flow module recognizes exactly which cutting jobs are planned for a machine and when. It automatically controls and coordinates the entire material flow. This includes material handling systems such as loading and unloading stations, storage towers and material transport units with pallets and lifts that are all fully integrated.
Dream Team OmniFab and Global Connect
The deep integration of OmniFab into the new Global Connect control raises processes to a new, digital level. It digitizes the execution of all cutting orders and the control of the cut parts. All cutting orders are available directly in the control and ready for processing. OmniFab transfers essential information to the controller in a pre-configured form, even while another cutting job is still being cut.
The Global Connect not only impresses with its modern design, but also proves to be extremely easy to use. Operators are guided through all production steps in an intuitive and forgiving way. Plate processing takes place without manual intervention. The system provides reliable production data reports and full traceability.
Experience digital production
For many trade fair visitors, digitization and Industry 4.0 are abstract concepts. You can now experience them live at the Messer Cutting Systems stand. The physical path of digital production leads through six stations: from station one, the order management, the creation of the nesting plans and production planning to material handling, production monitoring and finally station six with the process analysis.
Visitors to the stand can find out how perfectly systems and machines work together and how much this simplifies production processes. Using a realistic customer order, visitors are guided step-by-step through the process, including how to operate the Global Connect and control an exemplary computer-animated 3D model of a typical material handling system with OmniFab in real time.
With flexible and automated processes from Messer Cutting Systems, metalworking companies master current and future challenges such as the shortage of skilled workers, the energy transition and scarcity of resources. Because networked machines and systems provide relevant information from production in real time, so that companies can act faster, more resource-efficiently and more purposefully.
