At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025, MesserSoft will join forces with Messer Cutting Systems to demonstrate how digital processes are transforming sheet metal processing. Under the motto ‘Experience digitalization live – from first click to finished cut’, trade visitors to the stand can expect a practical insight into fully digitally networked production. A special highlight will be the live demonstration of a continuous combined process involving plasma bevel cutting, marking and drilling in a single pass.
From quotation to optimized nesting
Visitors will experience the digital process chain in four coordinated steps. The process begins with rapid quotation calculation in OmniFab. Part data such as DXF or STEP can be imported. Material, time and costs are automatically calculated and optimized with the new pre-nesting function. Alternative parts and order suggestions allow waste and machine running time to be reduced at this stage. The optimized component sets are then transferred directly to the OmniWin CAD/CAM solution.
Efficient nesting and drilling with OmniWin
The second step is nesting and drilling in OmniWin. Using complex combined parts, it shows how drill holes are imported or manually programmed, automatically transferred to the nesting plan and how different drill hole types such as threads, countersinks or sockets are displayed.
Particularly impressive is the combination of thermal and mechanical processes, such as pre-drilling or thread cutting with tool change. Sequencing options ensure an efficient machining strategy, which is visible in a realistic part simulation.
Production planning and controlling
The third station demonstrates production planning with OmniFab Job Management. Here, visitors learn how resources can be planned automatically in a simple and clear manner. Digital production documents and production data from the shop floor via OmniFab Job Scheduling and OmniFab Production Data Capture support production control. All work steps are fully traceable, which increases transparency and safety in production.
Live demonstration on the ELEMENT cutting machine
Finally, trade visitors will experience the practical side of things: live production on the ELEMENT cutting machine completes the entire process. The combined process of plasma bevel cutting, marking and drilling in a single pass results in the production of a complex part. Complete software integration from quotation to finished cut impressively demonstrates how transparency is created, throughput times are shortened, and productivity is sustainably increased.
Consulting – strategically towards digital success
At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025, trade visitors will have the opportunity to talk directly to our consultants. In personal conversations, they will learn how MesserSoft Consulting supports them individually and efficiently shaping the path from the initial idea to the successful implementation of digitalization. This makes a visit to the trade fair the starting point for a future-proof manufacturing strategy.
MesserSoft as a driving force for digital manufacturing
With this integrated solution, MesserSoft is underlining its role as a leading provider of software solutions for networked manufacturing and will be demonstrating how digitalization works in practice at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025.
