Hands-on learning with state-of-the-art technology
A group of students from Hamburg spent two weeks at ErhvervsUddannelsesCenter Syd (EUC Syd) in Tønder, Denmark, diving deep into the world of welding and cutting. With machinery from Messer Cutting Systems and the OmniWin CAD/CAM software, they not only learned the theory but directly applied their knowledge in practice.
From design to production
The first week focused on safety measures, machine knowledge, and software training. Then things got serious: the students developed their own models, prepared them for cutting in OmniWin, and brought their designs to life using Messer machines. In addition to cutting, bending, welding, and edge finishing were also part of the program. The finished workpieces were finally presented and evaluated.
