Our latest video shows how to place bevels on contours and functions relevant for the construction of bevel parts.

In this video you see how to place bevels on contours and functions relevant for the construction of bevel parts. Create a new part or open an existing part. Make sure the correct part thickness is set. Explode or break the contour as required or set additional break points or join existing contour elements that will be assigned the same bevel properties.

To set the bevels for the contour elements simply select the required contour elements. Then define the bevel type and the necessary bevel parameters in the Properties Dialog. OmniWin supports all standard bevel types like V-, Y-, X- and K-bevels with the appropriate parameters like flank angles, land height and land distance from top. Finally, check and adjust the start point of the contours.

Use Bevel leaders or show Bevel info function to display bevel information for the contours.
