OmniWin provides an additional automatic nesting function that renests only the parts already on the plate. This allows you to automatically rearrange the parts after any manual changes to the automatic nesting (e.g. adding or removing parts or changing leads).
Or, you can even quickly nest your parts manually and then have the automatic renesting function optimize the arrangement on the plate.
Launch the “Auto renest” function from the “Nest” menu or ribbon. Set the options for the renesting algorithm and click “Start”.
The “Fill plate” option modifies the nesting algorithm in a way that the parts are distributed evenly on the plate. This would allow for better heat distribution and might be useful in cases where empty areas on the plate would not be used as remnant anyway.
