Although there were 50% less visitors - compared to 2019 when the last Fabtech show was held - the quality was extremely high. Customers were much more serious about purchasing equipment so that some new Messer machines were ordered during the fair.
Also, the unitized cutting machine with a downdraft table, and the compact Bevel-R™ Rotator was in focus. Digitalization was another central topic on display. The new controller Global Connect as well as the software OmniFab Machine Insight met with great interest.
The focus was on the innovative ELEMENT 400. It can be flexibly equipped with many options such as plasma and oxyfuel cutting, marking, and cutting tables. The new plasma bevel unit Bevel-S with a C-axis rotation of ± 540 ° for maximum efficiency scored with its excellent dynamic behaviour. The plasma cutting machine MetalMaster Evolution with downdraft table and the compact Bevel-R™ rotator was also demonstrated live to the interested public. Digitization was another central topic: the new Global Connect control and the OmniFab Machine Insight software met with great interest.
Everyone - from the shop to our setup crew - all pulled together to make this happen. Now we are looking forward to another successful Fabtech next year!
