Spende an Kinder- und Jugendhospiz

Groß-Umstadt. - „Wir machen uns stark für Kinder“ lautet das Motto der Morgenstern Lutz-Frischmann-Stiftung. Diesen Leitspruch unterstützen die Mitarbeiter von Messer Cutting Systems (MCS) in Groß-Umstadt mit einer Spende an die Organisation.

Anlässlich der 120-Jahrfeier des Unternehmens bewiesen die MitarbeiterInnen von Cutting Systems ihre Hilfsbereitschaft. Lebensgroße Bravo-Starschnitte, die den roten Teppich der Veranstaltung säumten, wurden für den guten Zweck versteigert. Oliver Friz, CEO von MCS, verdoppelte den Erlös der Versteigerung, so dass schließlich 1.500 Euro an die Lutz-Frischmann-Stiftung übergeben werden konnten.

Lutz Frischmann wurde 2005 auf das Projekt Kinder- und Jugendhospiz aufmerksam und setzte sich direkt aktiv für die Spendensammlung ein. 2009 gründete er mit seiner Frau die Morgenstern Stiftung. Über zwei Drittel der Spenden fließen in die Kinderhospizarbeit, ein Drittel an weitere Projekte für krebskranke oder auch missbrauchte Kinder. Die Stiftung zählt inzwischen zu einer der größten Privatinitiativen Deutschlands.
